The WRC's annual performance of The Vagina Monologues is coming up next month! The Vagina Monologues is a play that was written by Eve Ensler in 1996. The play consists of various monologues about topics such as body image, sexuality, relationships, sexual violence, and more. Our performance will take place at the end of V-Week on February 28th and 29th. All proceeds for tickets and donations will go to the WRC's philanthropy, TruNorth in Columbia Missouri, which provides resources to survivors of domestic abuse or sexual violence.

If you are interested in performing, or know someone who is, please email Cleve and Cecilia at co5181@truman.edu and clf8252@truman.edu or come into our office anytime between 9am-4pm on weekdays.

Yesterday, December 1st was World Aids Day. This day is meant to bring awareness to the fight against HIV, to support those living with HIV, and to remember those who have died from AIDS related illnesses. There are many scientific advances today for HIV treatment, however this day is still important in raising awareness, raising money, educating the public, and fighting prejudice.
Today, December 2nd, the WRC will be in the SUB from 10am-3pm to raise awareness to HIV and AIDS, and to educate about the current status of these diseases within the United States. Please stop by to take a pamphlet and talk to us about the day!
