Don't forget to check out Celebrating Women of Truman tomorrow from 6-8 pm in the SUB HUB! Women from all over Truman will be showcasing talents such as singing, dancing, poetry reading, and many more! Bring your friends, eat some free food, and be ready for great performances.
Additionally, the LGBTQ+ Art Gallery will be from 7-9 pm in the SUB Georgian Room A on Thursday. Stop by to support and appreciate the excellence of many artists in the LGBTQ+ community.

Start off your weekend with the Women's Resource Center! We will be tabling in front of the SUB from 1-3 pm with free sno-cones, and it will be our last day of the Clothesline Project from 10am-3pm in the quad. Finally, Take Back the Night will be our last event for Sexual Assault Awareness Week. The Truman State Women’s Resource Center has been dedicated to providing resources to Truman students for over 20 years. We host various campus events throughout the year to educate and entertain the Truman community. The WRC centers around the health and well-being of women, but we are a resource for all genders. Do not hesitate to come to us with questions or attend any of our exciting events, regardless of gender, political affiliation, or religion. Truman’s WRC is open to helping anyone!

Some services we offer:

  • Peer-to-Peer Counseling
  • Male and Female Condoms, Dental Dams and Personal Lubricant
  • Literature on a wide range of topics, including sexuality, gender, issues of race and sexism, and much more!
  • Information on sexually transmitted infections, safe sex, and pregnancy options.
  • Educational and entertainment-based programs.
